With Monday, Feb. 22, being National Margarita Day, we’re highlighting a few Las Vegas restaurants and bars that offer their twist to the classic cocktail as well as some specials to enjoy exclusively on that day.
Javier’s is one of the best places to celebrate National Margarita Day in Las Vegas. Make plans for dinner and drinks as Javier’s is known for its authentic Mexican cuisine and a large selection of the finest tequila. On the beverage menu, you’ll find more than a dozen margarita options, such as the Jalapeño Margarita, a blend of Reposado tequila, St. Germain, agave nectar, lime, and orange juice.
Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville is offering traditional margaritas for .99 on National Margarita Day (add a Gran Gala float for more). But that’s not all. The restaurant will also have a class on making the perfect margarita at 4 p.m, followed by a margarita toast at 5 p.m.
Celebrate National Margarita Day with jumbo margaritas at Casa Don Juan. You can choose from a traditional margarita made with tequila, Dr. Swami & Bone Daddy’s mix, and Grand Marnier, or upgrade to flavorful ones like strawberry or mango lime. And the best part of it all is that there are three Las Vegas locations for you to visit.
Lucky Day Tequila & Mezcal House offers several handcrafted drinks for the ultimate National Margarita Day celebration. Try the Smoked Rita (pictured above) made with mezcal, tequila, lime, orange crema, agave, and charred pineapple. Other options include the Chica Blanca made with tequila, elderflower, crème de violette, lemon juice, lavender syrup, and egg white. You should also try the Dulce Mexicana, a combination of tequila, mango habanero vodka, lime, agave, triple sec, served with a chamoy candy and a Tajin rim.
Although Más Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila isn’t open on Mondays, you can celebrate National Margarita Day early by imbibing over the weekend. The libations are just as delicious as the food, so come ready to drink up. You can order house margaritas, such as the C&S Flower Power with hibiscus-infused agave and edible flowers or C&S Sweetie with watermelon or honeydew juice.
Hussong’s Cantina, home of the original margarita, offers two locations where you can celebrate: The Shoppes at Mandalay Place or Boca Park Fashions. In honor of the special day, both locations offer a buy one and get one free deal for National Margarita Day.
Lisa Vanderpump’s trendy hotspot, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, offers the Vanderpink Margarita, perfect for National Margarita Day. The signature cocktail is a mix of tequila, fresh lime, hibiscus, white peach, and orange liqueur.
In celebration of National Margarita Day, you can sip on margaritas all day long at the stylish CASBAR Lounge.
El Dorado Cantina recently launched its Margarita Mondays promotion at both locations (Tivoli Village and 3025 Sammy Davis Jr. Drive), just in time for National Margarita Day. Specials include house margaritas or flavored margaritas, such as pineapple coconut, cucumber jalapeño, mango, prickly pear, raspberry, and strawberry mint.
For National Margarita Day, head to The Chandelier for the Verbena cocktail—a lemon verbena and ginger-infused margarita garnished with a Sichuan flower. It’s one of the most popular drinks offered at the upscale bar and the perfect selection for the occasion.
